Carpet Cleaning

Preparing for Your Appointment

A few quick steps before we arrive will help us get the best possible result in the shortest possible time.

Vacuum (if you have time)

We'll vacuum before we clean, but a pass with your own vacuum beforehand doesn't hurt. The more dry soil removed up front, the more our extraction can focus on the deep soil.

Pick up small objects

Toys, remote controls, pet beds, floor cushions, under-sofa clutter. Not required, but it speeds us up and ensures nothing gets stepped on or sucked up.

Clear light furniture (optional)

If you want us to clean under light furniture, pulling it off the carpet before we arrive helps. We'll move anything up to the size of a two-seat sofa; larger pieces stay in place.

Point out problem spots

When we walk through, tell us about any specific stains, pet accidents, or areas you want extra attention on. We may have a special treatment for them.

Pets

Please secure pets during the appointment. Our equipment is loud, doors are propped open, and hoses are run through the house. For your pet's safety and comfort, a closed bedroom or outdoor crate is ideal.

Parking

Our truck needs to park within 150 feet of your front door for our hoses to reach. If driveway or street parking is tight, let us know in advance so we can plan.

After we leave

  • Carpets will be slightly damp — walk on them with clean, dry shoes or socks only
  • Open windows or run fans to speed drying if the weather allows
  • Avoid heavy traffic for 4 to 6 hours when possible
  • Furniture pads stay under feet for 24 hours while the carpet dries
