Why Grout Gets So Dirty
Grout is sand-based and porous. Every time you mop, dirty water seeps into those pores. Mopping doesn't lift that soil — it just redistributes it. Over months and years, grout lines become permanent reservoirs of trapped dirt, grease, and bacteria that no amount of scrubbing with a toothbrush will reach.
Our tile and grout cleaning uses truck-mounted high-pressure water combined with alkaline cleaning solutions designed specifically for grout. The pressure flushes the soil out of the pores while vacuum extraction captures it instantly, leaving the tile and grout genuinely clean.
Our Process
- Dry sweep & inspection. We remove loose debris and identify stains that need extra attention.
- Alkaline pre-spray. We apply a professional-grade grout cleaner and allow dwell time.
- Agitation. Rotary scrub tools work the solution into grout lines.
- High-pressure extraction. Our Turbo tool combines 500 PSI water with vacuum extraction — no spray, no mess, no residue.
- Rinse & neutralize. A clear-water rinse removes any remaining chemistry.
- Optional sealing. Penetrating grout sealer prolongs the clean and makes future cleaning easier.
Where We Clean Tile
Kitchens
Grease and food soil respond especially well to our heated alkaline process.
Bathrooms
Soap scum, hard-water stains, and mildew in grout and shower surrounds.
Entryways
Mud, salt, and heavy traffic grime that mopping only pushes around.
Showers & Tubs
Deep clean plus mildew removal — restores the look of your tile.
Commercial Floors
Restaurant kitchens, retail entrances, medical offices.
Natural Stone
Marble, travertine, slate — specialized pH-safe processes.
Grout Color Restoration
Even after a professional cleaning, severely stained grout can still look uneven. Our grout color sealing service applies a tinted sealant that restores a uniform color across the entire floor and seals the grout against future staining. Choose from a palette of standard grout colors — it's like getting new grout without the demolition.
"My kitchen floor hasn't looked this good since the day it was installed. I actually heard my husband say 'wow.' That's a first." — Linda K., Enfield NH
